I think I did something wrong. It seemed too easy to find the mean Anyway, I did find the mean for my group and followed up with the norm table. We happened to be right smack dab in the middle. So instruction could be directed to middle in this case, with supportive activities/extra repetition/differentiated activities for those students who
were outside in either direction.

I feel like I need to have a lot more time to play and navigate this all, I do not feel confident yet with moving around and getting what I need. Sue Caldwell

I already sent my comment on Tuesday but my luck with technology has it that I pressed the wrong "send" button.

I'm pretty much on the same page as everyone else. I'd like to know how to use this data to drive instruction for our kids. If I know then perhaps I can help their classroom teachers know and apply it as well.

NEXT STEPS for the Data Group:
1. Complete the Knowledge Academy course.
2. Complete the online training for Dynamic Reporting Suite. Check out your own teacher overview, and drill down for more information about your students.
3. Use one of the MAP reports to generate a new way to look at your students. Log what you did differently in your instruction because you had this data (i.e. plan for flexible grouping, differentiated assignments, interventions, etc.)
4. Watch the Ning and respond to your colleagues’ questions and ideas. Tell us what you're looking for, or what you've discovered. We're now a team of professional "friends." Let's talk - online that is...
