Toondoo is a great free on-line site. Lots of possiblities for classroom use. My only suggestion would be, and I did this with my class, I made only one account for the class and they all used that, so that I could see everything being made and changed. But I also limited the sections in the Gallery they could go to to choose their clipart. Being an open source people do post material that you may not want your students to see, but I strongly recommend one account for all users, and preview the gallery content prior so that you are familar with what is in it. Enjoy Toondoo !!

Next year I hope to have a smartboard and incorporate it in my daily lessons. I also would like to use toondoo, create more podcasts, & do powerpoints. I would also like to blog with other classrooms.

I liked Lindsey's idea of using Kidspiration to create a timeline. I would like to try that soon.

Thanks to all of you who shared such terrific ways to integrate technology. The comiclife.com or toondoo.com seem like great ways to assess student knowledge of science and/or social studies concepts.

One of my goals is to keep my I-Web page updated with more new sites. Also, I'd like to have an on-line photo gallery on my web page instead of the photo album I have.

Thanks, Kim - having time to share ideas is really beneficial and appreciated. The toondoo.com site has so many possibilities. Where are we at in the district on that 1 computer per student thing? :)

One thing I want to do more of if not this year then next year is to do comic life and to continue to do podcasts. Also I would like to contact and work with another school on a project or just simply communicate and see what they are doing.

I want to try having my student's work with the 5th grade student to make a project using comic life.
