I thought the article was food for thought. As fast as our world is changing I feel what we teach becomes obsolete quickly and traditionally, change in education is so slow. The role of the Curriculum Director and staff development becomes critically important.

I had a wonderful break with my children. We played in the snow, went to visit Santa and snuggled on the couch reading books and watching movies.

I didn't see Doubt but I did see Marley and Me! It was good but not great even though it is making lots of money. Is Doubt uplifting? I'm kind of out of the loop on the new movies that are out now.

Break was very restful and fun. I enjoyed seeing my sons and getting caught up with some pleasurable reading. I also saw a great movie:Doubt. Anyone see it? Patti Craven

Happy New Year! What was the most interesting event that took place for you during your Winter Break? Please share with us all! We want to get to know each other better! I adopted two black kittens (6 months old) for my daughters because they've been begging for a pet! I'm allergic. Would anyone LOVE these two sisters (the kittens I mean)? Please let me know and I'll tell you more about them. They are absolutely wonderful, warm and friendly lap kittens (plus you can use them for Halloween props - they like to sit on the window sill and look at what is happening outside - no need to purchase black cat window klings)!
